We love and miss you, Pam…

This past week we lost a dear friend/co-worker, Pamela Compton Lassiter. She entered our practice full of joy and happiness, where she served our patients compassionately and faithfully for ten years. Four years ago she got the news we never expected with the diagnosis of ovarian cancer. She, of course, took the challenge head on. Treatment after treatment she would come back to the office and give a little more of herself. She moved around the office, filling many positions as she could. She wanted to help so much and loved our staff and patients so dearly. Just recently, her pain became so great that she had to take a medical leave. “I’ll be back!” she would always say. Cancer may have gotten her body but it never took control of her heart, mind or soul. She was like a sister, a true friend, a co-worker and much more to us and she will be missed greatly. Our beloved Pam is now without pain. Today, she rejoices in the streets of heaven, worshipping our risen Savior with a beautiful, elegant body. Pam, you are missed today! Of course that’s nothing new. We miss your smile and the way you shared your love for each of us. No one can take away the memories of the ten years you served Greenville Family Dentistry. The patients we shared together, the happy times and the sad times. Our conversations will last forever… I picture you sitting in your chair, your mask just past your nose, ready to serve and make someone’s day brighter. We know life isn’t always fair and it doesn’t always have a happy ending; but Pam, with Christ, you are victorious.

God help us to be strong,

Dr. Harris and staff
