We hope that Oral Hygiene Month reminded you to call and schedule your cleaning if you’re due!
Here are some other basic oral hygiene tips for keeping your teeth healthy:
1.Brush at least two times a day, two minutes each time.
2.Don’t neglect your baby or toddler. You should wipe down baby’s gums after feedings, even if no teeth have erupted yet. Toddler’s teeth should be brushed twice a day as well, and he should see the dentist by his first birthday.
3.Flossing is just as important as brushing and should be part of your dental health routine each day.
4.Use mouthwash to help prevent gum disease.
5.Chew sugar-free gum after meals.
6.See your dentist every six months for a routine cleaning.
